Meet Cody and Meeka

12 year old lab and 6 year old husky looking for home(s) together or separate!

Cody and Meeka found their way to FMN after their owner passed away They were very loved and lived a great life on 20 acres in the hills. Adjusting after their loss has not been without struggle, but they’ve found their footings and are ready to start their next chapter

Cody is a very active 12 year old guy! He’s always on the move and looking for an adventure Cody does get excitedly anxious for his first few days in new home environments and in the car, manifesting in demand barking and needing some alone tome to decompress. He does settle down and gets comfortable after a day or two! After this, he is a happy-go-lucky, easy-going guy that doesn’t ask for much!

Meeka is a sweetie little girl! She is not your typical husky and is very happy to lounge around most of the day She loves to snuggle up on any soft surface and has found this dog bed to be her absolute favorite!

Both dogs are house broken and potty trained! They have free roamed the home their entire lives and are not used to being kenneled. They do well left alone in the home and are not destructive. They get along well with other dogs and all humans! They have met a few cats and were curious but friendly

These dogs are looking for home together or separate! We have trialed separating them and they did well - they do not seem to be bonded. They would each love a home with lots of love to give, room on the couch to snuggle, and maybe a couple of tennis balls to fetch!

Cody and Meeka do have reduced fees ($100 each) thanks to donations for their care and to encourage adoptions. Our application process still applies and the reduced fee should not be the reason for wanting to adopt. We will be throughly vetting good homes interested in one or both! (as we do for all pets)
