10 year old male springer spaniel

This senior fella is looking to start the next chapter of his life, the sweet golden years <3 Recon joined FMN when his previous shelter adoption did not work out due to no fault of his own. He’s been a pleasure to foster and we’re excited to see him blossom further!

Though his birthday says he’s 10, Recon is a spry guy - still active and ready to take on whatever the day has in store for him! He loves to run in the yard, play with any and all toys, and join his people on their adventures!

Recon has been fostered with kids and other dogs! He does generally well with them but can get annoyed with more energetic puppies and dogs and prefers those that can make his energy and respect his boundaries. Recon loves kiddos and would be stoked to be a kiddos BFFL <3 Recon is kennel & potty trained and is a well-mannered gentleman! He’s been a peach in the home and we’ve loved having him!

Recon does have well-managed hypothyroidism that he receives a twice daily medication for! His most recent bloodwork done with our vet team showed great values and that he is in tiptop shape! Recon’s adopters will be provided with his medication but will need to keep up with daily meds annual and surveillance bloodwork every 6 months
