Meet Huckleberry

Our sweet, loving Huckleberry is ready to start looking for his happily ever after in adoption! He has finished his vetting and is ready to find his new people <3

Huckleberry joined us with his housemate Finn. Both boys have been such charming young pups, we’ve had to work hard to not fall too far in love with them! Huckleberry has a gentle soul and child-like curiosity. He has been a very easy keeper, settling into his new routine like he’s been here forever.

In our care, Huckleberry has been fostered with kids, cats, and other dogs and has done exceptionally well! He matches the energy of those around him, playing with the puppies in the home while being more relaxed and aware of boundaries around the kiddos. He gets excited and loves to see his fosters come home and is always eager for all the love and pets that come with their arrival.

We have found that Huckleberry does LOVE to chase a ball/stick/toy, but hasn’t quite figured out how to bring it back >.< To him, it’s all still the same fun haha! He loves to explore the yard, go on car rides, and snuggle up with his people.

Huckleberry is kennel and potty trained and has been well-mannered in the home! He knows how to sit on command but that is it so far. He would likely love to take an obedience course with his people to expand his toolset and help him become the absolute very best boy (even though we think he is pretty darn close!)

Huckleberry is a special pup with an aura about him that draws you in and makes it hard to not love him! He is looking for a loving home with lots of room to run, plenty of toys to chase after, and people who will adore him forever.
