Dinky

1 year old male pomeranian

This crazy ball of furry fluff is our slightly neurotic Dinky (said with lots and lots of love)! He joined us a few weeks ago and is now ready to find his people <3

Though Dinky came in with his name, he earned the right to keep it with his …dinky? personality. Over the weeks, we have learned to love this little guy and appreciate all of his quirks! And we know there is someone out there who will love and appreciate him just the same

In our care, Dinky has become kennel trained and mostly potty trained! With a little more time and consistency, we have full faith that he will soon master the outdoor potty! Dinky does not know any formal tricks, but he is proficient in tail-chasing, high hops, yippy yaps, and psych outs (; His two brain cells might enjoy an attempt for some obedience training, especially if there is cheese involved, but we are happy with his current manners and skill level in our home <3

Dinky has been fostered with both cats & dogs and has really enjoyed them both! He loves to play chase in the yard, snuggle up on the bed, and pester them when they are over his antics. Due to his size and quirky nature, we will be looking for homes without little ones. He has done well with the kiddos he has met, but would be happiest with older kids that can understand and be respectful of puppy boundaries

Trying to describe Dinky might be our biggest challenge so far! Though he is a menace to society and terror to all that try to dull his sparkle, Dinky is just a pup with a desire to love and be loved! We are hitting hard on his less conventionally-attractive traits to make sure anyone who applies to adopt knows exactly what they are signing up for. Dinky is truly not a bad dog at all and is honestly, more often than not, a chill guy. A majority of his time is spent being the cutest, sweetest, most lovable furball at our feet. The other 20% of the time he is using our legs and furniture to parkour and our back deck as a stage for his yip yappy choir

On intake, Dinky was very matted and required a full body shave. It is important his new people understand the grooming needs of Pomeranians and keep up with it for his health and comfort.

Dinky is looking for a loving, outgoing home with people who can tolerate a little crazy in exchange for lots of love and laughter. If you are looking to spice up your life and never have a dull moment ever again for the next 15-20 years, consider adopting our little Dinky boy!
