This sweet boy is our special Rocky, originally Spoon from our utensil’s litter last summer. Rocky was returned to the rescue for urinating outside of the litterbox. Since being returned, Rocky has not had any issues using the litterbox appropriately (2.5 weeks)

In our care, Rocky has been the sweetest, most loving cat <3 He is a big purr-machine, is always happy to see us and is on the ready to suffocate us in kitty rubs, kisses, and biscuit kneading! He is a true lover boy!!

Rocky has been fostered with other cats and dogs! He has done great with the other cats and has adjusted well to the dogs in the home with proper introduction and a little time! He has learned to love even his craziest canine friends after the initial transition period <3 Rocky would love to have some furry companionship in his new home

While we have not had any issues with Rocky using the litterbox appropriately, it is important for his new family to be aware and stay on top of his needs. His litterbox should be easily accessible & cleaned daily (or use an automatic box) to encourage continued use and not cause any aversions. Not using the litterbox is abnormal and should result in a vet visit to check for any other underlying issues if consistent.
