Meet Copper

Rocking his new ‘do, Copper has finished his vetting and is now ready to take on life with his new favorite people! BIG thank you to Barks & Bubbles Grooming for giving him his fresh mullet to get him started on his new adventure with his best foot forward! We appreciate you!

Copper is the perfect pocket pal at right around 6lbs! Even better, he is kennel and potty trained and not much of a talker <3 He is a chill, nonchalant guy with a big heart full of love

In our care, Copper has been a big (little?) love bug! His favorite spot is in the comfort of someone’s arms, snoozing away no matter the time of day. He is always down for a nap, in your lap, in your arms, in the car, on a walk… anywhere and everywhere.

Though overall very easy-going, at 6bs Copper does has to be vigilant about his space to keep himself safe. Copper has been fostered with a plethora of doggy, kitty, and kiddo friends (including our 150lb dane!) and has done well <3 But this is because all of his friends have been good about respecting his boundaries. Copper does express his discomfort with growling and creating space by walking away when overly excited friend get too rowdy in his space but leaves it at least when listened and heard by his furry friends.

Copper would do best in a home with older kiddos (7+) that can respect his boundaries and leave him out of the roughhousing and with furry friends that are chill and/or will let him do his own thing without pushing him. He would be happy to be a solo pup showered in ALL the love or a share the spotlight and love with one or two friends who can match his energy.

Copper is hoping to find a relaxed, loving home with people who will love him forever and forever!
